Are you thinking of an expedition over 7000 m peaks in Nepal? The correct answer to this question is the Baruntse Expedition because of its easy technical aspects. Baruntse Peak is as beautiful as you can think when it comes to having a once-in-a-lifetime experience around 8000 m peaks that are famous worldwide. This is a peak that has a higher rate of success compared to other 7000 m mountains. The Baruntse Expedition’s Itinerary includes the climbing route accessible from the mountaineer’s point of view that is eager to see the most incredible view of mountains, such as Everest, Makalu, and Lhotse, including other 6000 m and 7000 m peaks. Day 01 Arrive at Tribhuwan International Airport (standard accommodation)
Arrive in Kathmandu on the date that you have planned for or at the most suitable time you have decided. Stay calm about the pick-up; we will wait for you outside the airport to take you to our office and the hotel. Our office remains open from 9 A.M. to 6 P.M. Kathmandu is known as the city of temples, and it is the most developed city in Nepal as we write these words in this itinerary. You will be staying in Thamel, the central tourist hub in Kathmandu. If you stay in a 5-star hotel, it will be outside Thamel.
Day 02 Sightseeing with breakfast and climbing preparations (standard accommodation)
Kathmandu is dotted with world heritage sites, and the most famous of them are mentioned below

★ Bouddhanath
★ Kathmandu Durbar Square
You will visit each of these with our city guide, and they will take you to the past. Those were the glorious days of Nepal. Day 03 Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla and Trek to Chhuthang (4 meals provided, standard accommodation)
A short scenic flight of 35 mins shows you the bird’s eye view of the mountains. Next, you will probably catch an early flight to Lukla, the starting point of the Everest Trek and the Baruntse Expedition. Next, you will start your trek to Chhuttang; on the way, you will come across pastures and forests, and the trekking trail will take you to the Kalo Himal before finally taking you to Chhuttang.
Day 04 From Chhuthang to Tuli Kharka via the Zatrawala Pass (4 meals provided, standard accommodation)
Following a trekking trail in a remote region, you will head to the Zatrawala pass at 4000 m. The trekking trail becomes steep before you reach the pass, and from the top of the pass, you will see the stunning view of Number Himal, Kongo Ri, and Karyolang Peak. However, you know you will always have to descend from the top of the pass, and this time also you do the same to reach Tuli Kharka.
Day 05 From Tuli kharka to Kothe (4 meals provided, standard accommodation)
As you head to your destination, you will be in the middle of the forest of rhododendron, oak, pine, and juniper, and what you will see is the best view of Mera, a mountain. The trekking trail goes downhill to take you to the Hinku River and later goes uphill to take you to Kothe, one of the most beautiful villages in the Everest Region.
Day 06 From Kothe to Thangnak (4 meals provided, standard accommodation)
Today, you will walk by the Hinku River and to Gondishung. On the way, there is Lungsumgba Gompa, and the trekking trail that takes you to this gompa is moderate. At the same time, you will see superb views of mountains, such as Mera Peak and Kusum Kanguru. Thangnak is popularly known as the summer grazing area and has some tea houses.
Day 07 From Thangnak to Khare (4 meals provided, standard accommodation)
You will walk on the Hinku and the Shar glaciers, which are steep to Khare. There is also the moraine on your way and a beautiful valley. Khare is best known as a village to see the beautiful view of Mera Peak.
Day 08 Acclimatization Day at Khare (4 meals provided, standard accommodation)
Acclimatisation is a must if you are heading to a higher altitude, but this does not mean you will rest; it means getting ready for tomorrow’s trek. First, your guide will take you to the nearby hill for hiking.
Day 09 From Khare to the Mera La Pass (4 meals provided, tented camp)
The trekking trail will take you to the boulders and the western ridge of the Mera glacier and ultimately to the top of the pass to show you the view of the world’s famous mountains in the Everest Region. Finally, you will follow a downhill trekking trail to reach the campsite from the pass.
Day 10 From the Mera La Pass to the Seto Pokhari (4 meals provided, tented camp)
You will reach the yak pasture in the valley and be in the middle of some of the world’s highest mountains. Following the trekking trail, you will get the Seto Pokhari, a white lake in Nepali, and you are in the upper basin of Hongu.
Day 11 From Seto Pokhari to the Baruntse Base Camp (4 meals provided, tented camp)
The valley you reach is vast and has a lot of small boulders, and as you get to a higher altitude, you will find it barren. Several small passes are yet to be crossed, and the trekking trail finally takes you to the Baruntse Base Camp.
Day 12-23 From the Summit of Mt. Baruntse to the Base Camp (4 meals provided, tented camp)
The Sherpas will set up camps at higher altitudes and decide on the climbing route. They will also cook meals for you, and they will also tell you when to acclimatise. The Sherpas undertake to overcome technical difficulties while climbing Baruntse and weather forecasting. When you reach the summit, you will spend a short time there. The summit offers the best view of Everest, Lhotse, Cho Oyu, Makalu and Kanchenjunga, Nuptse, and Mera Peak worldwide. From the summit, you will retrace the climbing route.
Day 24 From the base camp to the Seto Pokhari (4 meals provided, tented camp)
Before leaving the base camp, you will clean it and follow the trekking trail that will take you to the Seto Pokhari. After that, you will retrace the trekking trail that will take you once again to the Honku Valley, where there is Seto Pokhari.
Day 25 From Seto Pokhari to the Mera La Pass (4 meals provided, tented camp)
The trekking trail where you are walking comes under the category of the highest trekking trail, and it descends to take you to the valley, from where it ascends to take you to the campsite below the Mera La Pass.
Day 26 From the Mera La Pass to Thangnak (4 meals provided, standard accommodation)
You will walk steeply uphill to reach the top of the Mera La Pass, from where you will see the stunning view of the mountains once again. From the top of the pass, you will follow a steep, downhill trekking trail to reach Khare and Thangnak.
Day 27 From Thangnak to Kothe (4 meals provided, standard accommodation)
Most of the time, you will be trekking downhill, so you can say today’s trekking trail is more accessible, and you will be in the forest once again. You follow this downhill trek until you reach Kothe.
Day 28 From Kothe to Tuli Kharka (4 meals provided, standard accommodation)
Today’s trek differs from yesterday’s because it will take you to a higher altitude, but it also shows you the stunning view of mountains, such as Mera North, Mera Central, and the southern face of Mera Peak. You can also see a great view of Mera Peak from Tili Kharka.
Day 29 From Tuli Kharka to Lukla (4 meals provided, standard accommodation)
Today, you will be trekking on the ridge of the Kalo Himal, and then you will reach the Zatarwala pass and its topmost part, from where you can see the best view of the mountains and from where you will trek downhill to Chutanga and Lukla.
Day 30 Fly to Kathmandu (breakfast provided, standard accommodation)
Once again, it is time to enjoy the mountain aerial view from a plane's window. After landing at the Kathmandu airport, you will be taken to our office or the hotel.
Day 31 Leisure Day in Kathmandu (breakfast provided, standard accommodation)
Take a rest and explore Thamel. This place always has got something for a tourist like you. Every tourist loves this place.
Day 32 Departure
We will pick you up at the hotel three hours before your international flight and take you to Tribhuwan International Airport. So goodbye, and we wish you good luck for a safe journey.
