Bokta Peak Climbing, the unheard peak, lies in the trekking region of Nepal that the trekkers are unlikely to remember, the Kanchenjunga Region. It is also the land of the world’s third highest mountain, 8000 m plus. Although you are climbing Bokota Peak, you have stepped on the peak categorised as a trekking peak. It is called so because you can mount it within two days. Many 7000 m plus heights of Nepal, you will take more than ten days to reach their summits. While you are on the trekking route of Bokta, you will also see all the famous mountains of the Kanchenjunga Region, in addition to the world’s third-highest mountain. Their names are Jahnu or Kumbhakarana 7710 m, Dharma Peak 6850 m, and Nupchu 6690 m. Seeing these mountains, you trek in that part of eastern Nepal or in that part of Nepal with less than 200 trekkers in a year. This makes your trekking interesting, while Bokta Peak Climbing is thrilling and adventurous. Bokta Peak Climbing, you can do it in any of these months: March, April, May, September, October, November, and December. Bokota Base camp will be set up at 4000 m plus, and its high command will be at 5000 m.
Day 01 Arrive at Tribhuwan International Airport (standard accommodation)
Arrive in Kathmandu on the date that you have planned for or at the most suitable time you have decided. Stay calm about the pick-up; we will wait for you outside the airport to take you to our office and the hotel. Our office remains open from 9 A.M. to 6 P.M. Kathmandu is known as the city of temples and is the most developed city in Nepal as we write these words in this itinerary. You will be staying in Thamel, the central tourist hub in Kathmandu. If you stay in a 5-star hotel, it will be outside Thamel.
Day 02 Sightseeing with breakfast and climbing preparations (standard accommodation)
Kathmandu is dotted with world heritage sites, and the most famous of them are mentioned below

★ Kathmandu Durbar Square
You will visit each of these with our city guide, and they will take you to the past. Those were the glorious days of Nepal. Day 03 From Kathmandu to Bhadrapur and Ilam (breakfast provided, standard accommodation)
Fly from Kathmandu to Bhadrapur, one of the famous cities of eastern Nepal. From there, you head to Ilam by jeep. Ilam lies on a hill, and the world knows it as one of the famous tea plantation areas of Nepal. It is also renowned for its cheese.
Day 04 From Ilam to Taplejung (4 meals provided, standard accommodation)
You drive to Taplejung in private transportation, and on the way, you soak the beauty of the countryside. Phidim is a famous village that you pass through. When you reach Taplejung, you will see lots of Limbu people.
Day 05 From Taplejung to Mitlung (4 meals provided, standard accommodation)
Today is the first day of the trek. The trekking trail takes you to the lush forest, beautiful hills, and small villages. Most of these villages have houses made of mud bricks. The course also takes you to the terraced fields and cardamom fields, and then it takes you to the Tamor River. Finally, walking by the side of the river, you head to Mitlung.
Day 06 From Mitlung to Chiruwa (4 meals provided, standard accommodation)
Where you will reach today are the villages of the Limbu and the Tamang people, and the names of these villages are Sinwa, Tawa, and Pork. As you walk the trekking trail, you come across debris and boulders. From there, you descend to the Thiwa Khola, a river, and then cross a wooden bridge to reach Chiruwa.
Day 07 From Chiruwa to Sukathum (4 meals provided, standard accommodation)
The trekking trail takes you to the famous villages of the Kanchenjunga Region, and every trekker wants to know their names: Taplethok, Tamewa, Hellok, and Lelep. As you head to this village, you walk by the Tamor River and descend to the Simbu Khola, a river. The source of this river lies in the Yalung Glacier. After that, the trekking trail becomes steep, takes you to the Ghuna Khola Valley, and heads to Sukathum.
Day 08 From Sukathum to Amjilosa (4 meals provided, standard accommodation)
Walk by the Ghunsa Khola and head to Amjilosa. The trekking trail takes you to a steep hill and an open area. Enjoy the stunning view and cross the Ghunsa Khola by the bridge to reach Amjilosa, the village of the Tibetan people.
Day 09 From Amjilosa to Gyabla (4 meals provided, standard accommodation)
Today you follow the trekking in the rhododendron and bamboo forest and ascend to Gyabla. On the way, you pass by a giant waterfall. The trekking trail becomes steep while ascending and descending to Gyabla.
Day 10 From Gyabla to Ghunsa (4 meals provided, standard accommodation)
There is a beautiful meadow on the way to Ghunsa, one of the Tibetan villages you come across. There are ascending and descending trekking trails and a wooden bridge ahead. When you reach Ghunsa, you will see a small hydro plant. It also has a school and a health post.
Day 11 Acclimatization Day (4 meals provided, standard accommodation)
You have to acclimatise because you are heading to a higher altitude tomorrow. Acclimatisation does not mean rest; it means hiking to the nearby hill. Ghunsa is an ancient village; its ancient monasteries are the places of interest. Ghunsa is also the perfect place for studying Buddhist culture and tradition.
Day 12 From Ghumsa to Sele La Base Camp (4 meals provided, tented camp)
There are forests and villages on the way; the forest is dense with rhododendrons and juniper trees, and the villages look beautiful. However, they are located at an inaccessible point from the thinking of a city man. You can call them a wild village in terms of their location, that is, on the slope of the hill, from where you can see the ridges all around you. Walking on the southern side of this ridge, you reach a higher elevation only to head to the destination mentioned in your itinerary, today’s itinerary.
Day 13 From Sele La Base Camp to Tseram (4 meals provided, standard accommodation)
Walk on the ridge; this is where your trekking trail takes you. And here, you will see the stunning view of the snow-covered mountains famous in the Kanchenjunga Region. Some of these are Makalu and Jannu. On the way to Tseram, Mirgin La Pass ascends to an altitude of 4000 m. Descending from this pass, you will reach Tseram.
Day 14 From Tseram to Ramche (4 meals provided, standard accommodation)
Walking on the moraines of the Yalung glacier, you head to Ramche. On the way, you come across a lake and meadow. You will also be walking in the ablation valley. You might see blue sheep. Ramche is a small village with a small monastery, which is beautiful.
Day 15 From Tseram to Yalung Base Camp (4 meals provided, tented camp)
You are ascending to a higher altitude. You will see and come across high valleys and snow-covered mountains. There is also alpine vegetation on the way. Yalung Base Camp is an ideal base camp for trekkers and climbers.
Day 16 From Yalung Base Camp to Bokta Peak Base Camp (4 meals provided, tented camp)
Gradually, the trekking trail rises to a higher altitude over the rocks loosely located from one another. This trail is also covered with snow and ice. Here it becomes necessary to use ropes and crampons. Walking on this trail, you will reach Yalung Base Camp.
Day 17 From Bokta Peak Base Camp to Bokta Peak High Camp (4 meals provided, tented camp)
Today you are climbing a higher altitude. That is, you will be walking on the ridge and standing on the top of this ridge. From the bank, you will see fantastic views of the mountains, some of which include famous mountains like Kanchenjunga. You will be visiting the Kanchenjunga Ranges. You will reach the high camp by walking on this ridge and seeing the famous mountains.
Day 18 From the high camp to the Summit of Bokta Peak and return to the base camp (4 meals provided, tented camp)
The Sherpas undertake to overcome technical difficulties while climbing Bokta and weather forecasting. You start climbing before dawn to reach the summit. When you reach the summit, you will spend a short time there. The summit offers the best view of Kanchenjunga, Kumbhakarna, Dhormo Peak, Nupchu and several snow-capped mountains. From the summit, you will retrace the climbing route.
Day 19 From Bokta Peak Base Camp to Yalung Base Camp (4 meals provided, tented camp)
You retrace the trekking trail.
Day 20 From Yalung Base Camp to Tortong (4 meals provided, tented camp)
You will head to Tseram and reach the forest by following the descending trekking trail. Later, you will get to the Simbuwa River, where Tortong village lies. This village has tea houses, but you will set up camp here. There is enough camping ground here.
Day 21 From Tortong to Yamphudim (4 meals provided, standard accommodation)
You follow the descending trekking trail to the Amji Khola and cross the Lasiya Bhanjyang (3310 m) and Dhupi Bhanjyang (2620 m). Further, this trail takes you to Yamphudim.
Day 22 From Yamphudim to Khebang (4 meals provided, standard accommodation)
Today also, you will follow a downhill trekking trail and reach valleys, waterfalls, and forests. There are also small streams you cross by suspension and wooden bridges. There are also small villages on the way, including the Kabeli Khola, before arriving in Khebang.
Day 23 Trek from Khebang to Khanidingbe (4 meals provided, standard accommodation)
All along the trekking trail, you will see the beautiful Kanchenjunga and Jannu Himal views. Finally, you will reach the forest, including waterfalls. From there, you go to Khanidingbe.
Day 24 Drive Khanidingbe to Birtamod (breakfast provided, standard accommodation)
The drive is scenic because you will see the beautiful view of the green hills, snow-capped mountains, and rivers. Finally, you head to the Terai region of Nepal from the beautiful mountainous area of the Himalayas.
Day 25 From Birtamod to Bhadrapur and fly to Kathmandu (breakfast provided, standard accommodation)
Drive to Bhadrapur to fly to Kathmandu.
Day 26 Departure (breakfast provided)
We will pick you up at the hotel three hours before your international flight and take you to Tribhuwan International Airport. So goodbye, and we wish you good luck for a safe journey.
