Churen Himal is a technical peak that becomes technical in winter; that’s why the expedition comes under the Grade III Scottish Climbing category. Apart from winter, May, September, October, and November are the best months for climbing Churen Himal. If you do the mathematics, the climbing route of the Churen Himal has 30% rock climbing, 50% snow climbing, and 20% ice climbing. You will follow the South East Ridge to reach the summit. The trekking trail to the base camp of Churen Himal comes under the category of off-the-beaten. The course takes you to the untouched region of Nepal of beautiful nature and wild valleys.
Sthe ince Churen Himal Expedition is an expedition over 7000 m, you can see this expedition as a preparation for climbing 8000 m peaks in Nepal like Everest, Makalu, and Kanchenjunga. Churen Himal is one of the massifs of the Dhaulagiri Ranges. These ranges block the cloud-bearing rain; that’s why Mustang and Dolpo have dry environments, which are the popular trekking destinations of Nepal in June and July. Dhaulagiri Ranges are the only ranges that lie entirely within Nepal; other fields of Nepal share their borders with Tibet. Are you looking for a similar expedition in the Everest Region?
