Day 01 Arrive at Tribhuwan International Airport (standard accommodation)
Arrive in Kathmandu on the date that you have planned for or at the most suitable time you have decided. Stay calm about the pick-up; we will wait for you outside the airport to take you to our office and the hotel. Our office remains open from 9 A.M. to 6 P.M. Kathmandu is known as the city of temples, and it is the most developed city in Nepal as we write these words in this itinerary. You will be staying in Thamel, the central tourist hub in Kathmandu. If you stay in a 5-star hotel, it will be outside Thamel.
Day 02 Sightseeing with breakfast (standard accommodation)
Kathmandu is dotted with world heritage sites, and the most famous of them are
★ Pashupatinath
★ Swayambhunath
★ Bouddhanath
★ Kathmandu Durbar Square
You will visit each of these with our city guide, and they will take you to the past. Those were the glorious days of Nepal. From your guide, hear the myths, the true story, and the significance of the historical monuments from the religious point of view.
Day 03 From Kathmandu to Pokhara to Beni (4 meals provided, standard accommodation)
Fly to Pokhara, the city of lakes and Nepal’s second tourist hub, famous worldwide for scenic landscapes and tourism activities. During the flight, you will see the stunning view of Manaslu Peak, including Annapurna and Langtang. Next, you head to Beni on a bus from the city of lakes to see the breathtaking view of the Annapurna Ranges. Beni lies above the meeting point of the two rivers: Kali Gandaki and Myagdi.
Day 04 From Beni to Babiyachaur (4 meals provided, standard accommodation)
Today is the first day of trekking, wherein you start by walking on the bank of the Kali Gandaki River. The trekking trail takes you to the agricultural fields, especially paddy fields. The villages you come across and pass through are Mangalghat, Singa, and Tatopani. The trekking trail that goes downhill changes its direction to go uphill to Babiyachaur.
Day 05 From Babiyachaur to Dharapani (4 meals provided, standard accommodation)
As you walk the trekking trail, you will see the terraced hills with rice plantations. The main villages that you pass through are Shahashadhara and Dudh Khola Ratorunga. The trekking trail takes you to the base of Phedi. Then, you walk further to cross the Dangya Khola, and a narrow path ahead will take you to Dharapani.
Day 06 From Dharapani to Muri (4 meals provided, standard accommodation)
As you head to Muri through the steep trekking trail, you will see the stunning view of Dhaulagiri. Because of this, today’s journey becomes memorable.
Day 07 From Muri to Boghara (4 meals provided, standard accommodation)
The trekking trail you will follow becomes easy because it goes downhill for a few hours. Later, it climbs uphill to take you to Boghara.
Day 08 From Boghara to Dovan (4 meals provided, standard accommodation)
Walk on the ridge downhill to the forest and Jyardan, a beautiful village. After that, the trekking trail goes downhill again, and it becomes steeper, and walking on the stone steps, you will reach the forest of Rhododendron and Dovan, another beautiful village.
Day 09 From Dovan to the Italian Base Camp (4 meals provided, tented camp)
You are walking to a higher altitude to reach the Italian Base Camp, lying in front of the west wall of Dhaulagiri Mountain. You will also be walking in the beautiful forest near the snow-covered mountains to get there.
Day 10 Italian Base Camp Acclimatization (4 meals provided, tented camp)
Today is an acclimatisation day, and you can acclimatise by visiting the famous places of the Italian Base Camp, such as the campsite and viewpoint. However, hiking is what you are likely to do mainly.
Day 11 From the Italian Base Camp to the Glacier Camp (4 meals provided, tented camp)
Today you’ll make use of ropes for the crossing of glaciers in some tricky places. This part is a dangerous trail, so be careful and have patience. Finally, set your camp beyond the glacier.
Day 12 From the Glacier Camp to the Dhaulagiri Base Camp I (4 meals provided, tented camp)
The trekking trail goes uphill, uphill, and uphill. From there, you will see the stunning view of Dhaulagiri. Enjoy this view, and you walk more and more to reach the base camp of Dhaulagiri.
Day 13 From the Dhaulagiri Base Camp to the French Col and the Hidden Valley (4 meals provided, tented camp)
Walk on the glaciers using a rope, and there is a challenge: a steep moraine wall. We will cross this to reach the French Col’s top; from here, you will see the Hidden Valley. The valley that you see is similar to that of Tibet.
Day 14 Hidden Valley Camp (4 meals provided, tented camp)
The snow-covered mountains from all sides surround you, and you will explore this valley. As Dhaulagiri is the whitest mountain in the world, the mountain you see gives you the experience of heavenly feeling.
Day 15 From the Hidden Valley trek to Yak Kharka (4 meals provided, standard accommodation)
You will cross the Dhampus Pass, which is 5000 m plus, and then you will reach the area prone to avalanches, from there, you will head to Yak Kharka. From the Dhampus Pass, you will see the mind-blowing view of the snow-covered mountains.
Day 16 From Yak Kharka trek to Marpha and Jomsom (4 meals provided, standard accommodation)
You will be walking downhill to reach Marpha, one of the villages of the Thakali people. This village has a sound drainage system, and from this village, you will head to Jomsom, the windiest place in Nepal.
Day 17 From Jomsom to Pokhara (breakfast and lunch provided, standard accommodation)
Fly from Jomsom to Pokhara, which is 20 minutes.
Day 18 From Pokhara to Kathmandu (breakfast and lunch provided, standard accommodation)
Fly or drive to Kathmandu.
Day 19 Departure (breakfast provided)
Three hours before your international flight, we will come to pick you up at the hotel and take you to Tribhuwan International Airport. So goodbye, and we wish you good luck for a safe journey.
