Everest Expedition

Everest Expedition in Nepal

Starting the Everest Trek is more than simply climbing; it's an attempt to realize an incredible dream in Nepal's difficult landscape. Adventurers find great attraction in the challenge of ascending this 8,000-meter summit, and you will always have a particular spot for it because of your spirit of adventure. Everest is not just any mountain; climbing its path offers special difficulties, such as gaps so large that three ladders are required to pass and snow-covered objects. However, they are essential components of the Everest Trek for mountaineers. Hiking up to Camp I from the base camp, you come across the Khumbu Icefall, an exciting part of the trip. One aspect of the task is negotiating; to reduce the dangers associated with glacier movement, the ascent starts early in the morning to avoid sunrise and afternoon.

•  Camp I: Standing above the icefall, this location is important for the journey.

•  Camp II: Located at the easternmost point of the CWM, a U-shaped valley cut by the Khumbu Glacier.

•  Camp III:  Situated on a cliff ice wall, making climbing much more challenging.

•  Camp IV: This camp marks a major climbing turning point above the yellow band.

Achieving the summit of Everest is an incredible feat that entails meeting:

•  Constant Wind Movement (CWM): The Khumbu Glacier built this U-shaped valley, which presents a unique obstacle to the trek.

•  Steep Wall of Ice: A difficult barrier that scales with ability and willpower.

 Everest Expedition Itinerary

Day 1: Getting to Tribhuwan International Airport (standard lodging)

Remember to arrive in Kathmandu on the scheduled day or at the most suitable time given in the schedule. You may be confident that our crew will greet you outside the airport and take you to your hotel and our office. Our office is open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. When writing this route, Kathmandu—also known as the city of temples—was the most advanced city in Nepal. Your lodging will be in Thamel, Kathmandu's busy and main tourist district. Please be aware that the 5-star hotel you choose will not be in the Thamel neighbourhood.

Day 02 Sightseeing with breakfast and climbing preparations (standard accommodation)

Kathmandu has a variety of world heritage sites, including the most well-known:

• Swayambhunath
• Pashupatinath
• Kathmandu Durbar Square
• Bouddhanath

With our city guide, your tour of these locations promises to take you on a historical trip through Nepal's rich past. You will discover myths, true accounts, and religious importance buried in these ancient sites with the assistance of our informed guide. Every site tells a different story and provides a deep understanding of the region's spiritual heritage. We're not just thinking about the historical outing while preparing for the climb. Our top priorities are:

• Safety: Throughout the trip, ensuring your well-being is crucial.
• Logistics: Simplifying the many aspects to provide an easy and successful travel experience.
• Overcoming Mountaineering Challenges: Providing you with the abilities and information required to overcome the challenges encountered in mountaineering and getting you ready for the climb ahead.

Day 03: Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla and Trek to Phakding (4 meals provided, standard accommodation)

Take off on a quick 35-minute beautiful flight that offers a unique aerial view of the magnificent mountains. After this thrilling event, your adventure continues with an early flight to Lukla, the starting point for the Everest Trek. You can begin your journey into the heart of the Himalayas in Lukla.
Your journey starts in Lukla and takes you to Phakding, a small Sherpa town hidden at the edge of the Dudh Kosi River Valley. Attract yourself with the stunning sight of the Kusum Kangaru mountain along the route, which increases the appeal of the journey and sets the scene for the amazing views that await.

Day 04 From Phakding to Namche Bazaar (four square meals provided, standard accommodation)

Monjo, the entry point of Sagarmatha National Park, is your travel destination today. The walk leads you through beautiful woodlands highlighted by rhododendrons and pine trees as you go. You'll go through charming towns along the way, including stops at Tok Tok and Jorsale that are worth seeing.
Your hike will gain an element of adventure as you cross a suspension bridge en route to Namche Bazaar, the largest Sherpa settlement in Nepal. The physically taxing uphill portions of the Namche path are compensated for by the magnificent landscapes and the promise of arriving in Namche, where you'll have plenty of time to take it easy and relax.

Day 05 Acclimatization Day (4 meals provided, standard accommodation)

Enjoy this day of introduction in Namche, the biggest Sherpa settlement in Nepal. Take in the lively local culture and visit these fascinating locations:

• Everest View Hotel: From its lofty sit-in, enjoy outstanding service and stunning views of Ama Dablam, Kongdi RI, Thamserku, and Everest.
• Sherpa Culture Museum: This museum provides a fuller knowledge of the region's cultural mix and offers insights into the rich Sherpa heritage and traditions.
• Syangboche Airstrip: Visit the unique Syangboche Airstrip, which provides insight into transportation operations in the tough Himalayan environment.
• Everest Photo Gallery: Discover interesting photographs that capture the essence of the Everest area, highlighting the breathtaking scenery and spirit of adventure that distinguish this unique corner of the globe.

This preparation day, which includes four meals and basic lodging, allows you to get used to the altitude and enjoy Namche's natural beauty and rich culture.

Day 06 From Namche to Tengboche (4 meals provided, standard accommodation)

Everest trekkers have a special place in their hearts for Tengboche, which is known as the greatest spiritual location for both Buddhists and non-Buddhists. The Tengboche monastery is well-known throughout Nepal, and visiting this holy location would be a must on any hike.
You will travel an upward route through charming forests home to little settlements and meadows before arriving at Tengboche. Your eyes will be treated to endless landscapes of magnificent mountains as you hike along the route, with Ama Dablam's striking shape drawing your attention. The trek offers incredible views of Mount Everest, leaving you with a lasting impression.
Tengboche is a must-visit location for anybody looking for a deeper connection with the natural and cultural treasures of the area because of its stunning surroundings and spiritual atmosphere, which give a significant depth to the Everest trip.

Day 07 From Tengboche to Dingboche (4 meals provided, standard accommodation)

You will cross many suspension bridges during the hike from Tengboche to Dingboche, which will lend an element of adventure to your route. There are several little Sherpa settlements along the trail; two particularly notable ones are Pangboche and Orsho. The walking route passes through an area with stone walls, and the Himalayan air dances with colourful prayer flags, creating a serene and attractive mood. As you drive by these small cities and take in the customs of the locals, you can't help but notice how diverse the region is.
The beautiful views of Everest open up as you get closer to Dingboche, creating a magnificent background for this Himalayan settlement. Natural beauty, cultural exposure, and the excitement around the Everest climb combine to produce a wonderful and informative experience throughout this portion of the journey.

Day 08 Acclimatization Day (4 meals provided, standard accommodation)

During acclimatisation in Namche, you visited its exciting places. You can do the same in Dingboche by hiking up Nagarjun Hill. From the top of the hill, you will see the spectacular view of Imja Valley, including the mountains, such as Ama Dablam, Lhotse, Nuptse, and Everest. As you can see, Ama Dablam is the world’s most beautiful mountain.

Day 09 From Dingboche to Lobuche (4 meals provided, standard accommodation)

You are heading to the higher altitudes, and you will notice changes in the geographical features as you come across the snowy region and shrub plants. Still, the view of the mountains, such as Lingtern, Pumori, and Khumbutse, will blow your mind. The villages you come across are small and have fewer villagers. Compared to Dingboche, Lobuche is small, and Lobuche Peak is famous worldwide. This is the only village where you spend your night by peak.

Day 10 From Lobuche to Gorakshep and Everest Base Camp (4 meals provided, tented camp)

Today, you are heading to the base of Everest you have always dreamt of. But first, you have to reach Gorakshep, which used to be the base camp for Everest climbers. You can call this village the last Everest Base Camp Trek village. As you head to the base camp, you will walk by the Khumbu Glacier. When you reach there, you will see the Khumbu Icefall.

Day 11-56 Days Climbing of Mount Everest and descending to the base camp (4 meals provided, tented camp)

The Sherpas will set up camps at higher altitudes and decide on the climbing route. They will also cook meals for you, and they will also tell you when to acclimatise. The Sherpas undertake to overcome technical difficulties while climbing Everest and weather forecasting. When you reach the summit, you will spend a short time there. The summit offers the best view of all 6000 m, 7000 m, and 8000 m peaks worldwide. From the summit, you will retrace the climbing route.

Day 57 From the Everest Base Camp to Gorakshep (4 meals provided, standard accommodation)

The Sherpas will pack up the climbing equipment, and you will start your trek from the base camp.  You will retrace the trekking trail, and once again, you will reach Gorakshep. The good news is that it is down trekking, and you enjoy a leisurely walk.

Day 58 From Gorakshep to Kala Patthar and Pheriche (4 meals provided, standard accommodation)

Before dawn, you begin to trek from Gorakshep to Kalapathar, a perfect viewpoint to see the view of the mountains that will stay permanently with you. The sunrise on Everest Peak is so alluring that you want to capture it with your camera. It is an uphill walk to Kalapathar, which is exhausting, but the downhill walk to Pheriche turns the tired journey into a soothing one.

Day 59 From Pheriche to Namche (4 meals provided, standard accommodation)

Walking downhill is more accessible than walking uphill, and you can experience this as you reach several villages. First, you will walk by the Imja Khola, a river, and then you will go to Tengboche, Phungki Thanka, and Kyangjuma. From the area of shrub plants, you once again get the forest of pine and rhododendrons, but what is consistent is the view of the snow-covered mountains.

Day 60 From Namche to Lukla (4 meals provided, standard accommodation)

As you head to Lukla, you will again see the colourful Buddhist prayer flags and come across chortens, mani walls, and gompas. Crossing the suspension bridges over the glaciated Dudh Kosi River reminds you of the beginning of your Everest journey. Finally, from Cheplung, you will head to Lukla.

Day 61 Flight from Lukla to Kathmandu (breakfast provided, standard accommodation)

Once again, it is time to enjoy the aerial view of the mountain from a plane's window. After landing at the Kathmandu airport, you will be taken to our office or the hotel.

Day 62 Rest Day in Kathmandu (breakfast provided, standard accommodation)

Visit the exciting places in Thamel, and buy souvenirs for your friends and relatives. We have included this day in your itinerary in case your “Kathmandu flight” gets cancelled due to bad weather in Lukla.

Day 63 Departure (breakfast provided)

We will pick you up at the hotel three hours before your international flight and take you to Tribhuwan International Airport. So goodbye, and we wish you good luck for a safe journey.
