This village is the last village of the Everest Three Passes Trek. As you head to the base camp, you will walk by the Khumbu Glacier. When you reach there, you will see the Khumbu Icefall. Unfortunately, no tea houses are on the base camp; therefore, you must return to Gorakshep to spend the night.

Before dawn, you begin to trek from Gorakshep to Kalapathar, a perfect viewpoint to see the view of the mountains that will stay permanently with you.
