Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek can be summarised as a trek that shows you the panoramic view of the snow-covered mountains that make up the Himalayas that the world wants to see that the Nepalese feel proud when they want to give an introduction of their country to foreigners. Ghorepani Poon Hill Trekking has all the aspects the trekkers want to see inside the Annapurna Conservation Area, including the Gurung and Magar cultures. This area is also home to different species of birds and is famous for the sunrise view over the mountains. All these make the Ghorepani Poon Hill Trekking the best in Nepal and the world. Day 01 Arrive at Tribhuwan International Airport (standard accommodation)
Arrive in Kathmandu on the date that you have planned for or at the most suitable time you have decided. Stay calm about the pick-up; we will wait for you outside the airport to take you to our office and the hotel. Our office remains open from 9 A.M. to 6 P.M. Kathmandu is known as the city of temples, and it is the most developed city in Nepal as we write these words in this itinerary. You will be staying in Thamel, the central tourist hub in Kathmandu. If you stay in a 5-star hotel, it will be outside Thamel.
Day 02 Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara (breakfast provided, standard accommodation)
Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal, is where you spend your night; from there, you head to Pokhara, the city of lakes. As you head to Pokhara, you are on the Pirthivi Highway and by the Trishuli River, a famous river for rafting in Nepal. Pirthivi Narayan Shah was a King who played a significant role in the unification of Nepal. At Pokhara, you spend a night in the hotel by the lake, seeing a magnificent view of Fishtail Mountain.
Day 03 Drive to Nayapul and trek to Tikhedhunga (4 meals provided, standard accommodation)
It will take you almost one hour to reach Nayapul in a car or jeep; on the way, you will come across small villages which are small and beautiful. From Nayapul, the trekking trail takes you to Birethani and the Bhurungdi Khola, a river. Finally, walking on the bank of this river, you will reach Tirkhedunga.
Day 04 From Tirkhedunga to Ghorepani (4 meals provided, standard accommodation)
There are suspension bridges on the way you cross and beautiful waterfalls you will love to take photos of. The main village you will reach is Ulleri, from where you will see the breathtaking mountain view, such as Annapurna South. As you trek further, you will go to Banthani, another main village, and see the mountain Machhapuchhare. From there, you head to Ghorepani, where you can see the superb view of Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri South, Annapurna South, and Hiuchuli.
Day 05 From Ghorepani to Tadapani (4 meals provided, standard accommodation)
Hike up to Poon Hill early in the morning to see the superb view of the Annapurna Ranges and the Dhaulagiri Ranges. You will also see Manaslu, the world’s eighth-highest mountain. To reach Poon Hill, you will walk uphill on the ridge.
Day 06 From Ghorepani to Pokhara (breakfast and lunch provided, standard accommodation)
Hike up to Poon Hill early in the morning to see the superb view of the Annapurna Ranges and the Dhaulagiri Ranges. From there, you trek to Nayapul and drive to Pokhara.
Day 07 Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu (breakfast provided, standard accommodation)
From the city of lakes, you head to the city of temples via the Pirthivi Highway, and the main towns you reach are Damauli, Dumre, Mugling, and Kurintar.
Day 08 Departure (breakfast provided)
Three hours before your international flight, we will come to pick you up at the hotel and take you to Tribhuwan International Airport. So goodbye, and we wish you good luck for a safe journey.
