Many travel writers call the Manaslu Circuit Trek a new trek of Nepal based on the year the government of Nepal opened it for trekkers living across the world. Compared to the Annapurna Base Camp Trek and the Everest Base Camp Trek, you can say the Manaslu Circuit Trek, or trekking, is young. Manaslu Mountain is taller than Annapurna and shorter than Everest. The Trekking trail of the Manaslu Circuit can be compared to that of the Kanchenjunga Base Camp Trek in terms of solitariness found only in the central region of Nepal. At the same time, the Kanchenjunga Base Camp Trek takes place in the far eastern side of Nepal.
Like the Everest Base Camp Trek, you will find the Manaslu Circuit Trekking giving you a taste of Buddhism as you pass by the mani wall, monasteries, and chortens that lie on the way to the base camp of Manaslu. When you talk about trekking in Nepal in the Everest Region, you can jump to the conclusion that modern civilisation has made its impact in this region. Still, in the Manaslu Region, you do not see this. As a result, you will be taken to the past by the aged Tibetan Culture and by the snow-covered mountain that is the eighth highest mountain in the world that has not been affected by the global environment called pollution. The main features of Manaslu Circuit Trek are:
- One of the best remote trekkings in Nepal
- One of the best solitary trekking trails in Nepal
- Not so arduous, not so challenging trek of Nepal
