Before you climb Pumori or start the Pumori Expedition, you will trek for ten days in some of the famous regions of Everest. If this is your first expedition in Nepal, you will find it so well organised by our experienced and helpful Sherpas that you will have one of the best experiences of your life. Regarding an expedition over a 7000 m peak in Nepal, Pumori is on your bucket list because it lies in the Khumbu Valley close to Mt. Everest at a distance of 8 km. As you climb Pumori, you come across a steep rock, high elevation, and mixed-ice section. The Southwest Ridge of the Pumori is more impressive than the East Ridge; our amazing Sherpas will follow the ridge that will make the climb successful. The unexpected problems you see from a distance during the expedition are avalanches and rock falls, and our excellent guides know how to avoid them.

Stay calm about the pick-up; we will wait for you outside the airport to take you to our office and the hotel. Our office remains open from 9 A.M. to 6 P.M. Kathmandu is known as the city of temples and is the most developed city in Nepal as we write these words in this itinerary. You will be staying in Thamel, the central tourist hub in Kathmandu. If you stay in a 5-star hotel, it will be outside Thamel.

Day 03 Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla and Trek to Phakding (4 meals provided, standard accommodation)
A short scenic flight of 35 minutes shows you the bird’s eye view of the mountains. Next, you will probably catch an early flight to Lukla, the starting point of the Everest Trek. From Lukla, you will head to Phakding, one of the Sherpa villages at the edge of the Dudh Kosi River Valley. On the way, you will see the stunning view of the mountain called Kusum Kangaru.
Day 04 From Phakding to Namche Bazaar (four square meals provided, standard accommodation)
Today, you are heading to Monjo, the entrance to the Sagarmatha National Park. The trekking trail takes you to the forest of pine and rhododendrons. Although you will walk through small villages, the famous ones are Tok Tok and Jorsale. Before reaching Namche Bazaar, the largest Sherpa village in Nepal, you will cross the suspension bridge. The trekking trail you will follow goes uphill and makes you tired, but when you reach Namche, you will have enough time to relax.
Day 05 Acclimatization Day (4 meals provided, standard accommodation)
As Nepal’s largest Sherpa village, Namche also has exciting places to visit. Its Everest View Hotel is famous for its unbeatable service and a viewpoint from where you can see the stunning views of the mountains, such as Everest, Thamserku, Kongdi RI, and Ama Dablam. In addition, the Sherpa Culture Museum, Syangboche Airstrip, and Everest Photo Gallery are on the list you want to visit.
Day 06 From Namche to Tengboche (4 meals provided, standard accommodation)
If Namche is the largest Sherpa village in Nepal, you can say that Tengboche is the best spiritual place for Buddhists, including non-Buddhists. Its monastery is famous all over Nepal. Your trek will be incomplete if you do not visit this monastery. To reach Tengboche, you must walk uphill in the forest, where small villages and pastures exist. As you walk the trekking trail, the view of the mountains keeps on coming to your eyes, especially that of Ama Dablam. In addition, you will also see the exceptional view of Everest that will trace to your mind.
Day 07 From Tengboche to Dingboche (4 meals provided, standard accommodation)
As you trek from Tengboche to Dingboche, you will come across suspension bridges, not two, but many. Many small Sherpa villages are on the way; the famous ones are Pangboche and Orsho. The trekking trail passes by mani walls, and colourful prayer flags flutter in the Himalayan breeze. As you reach Dingboche, you will enjoy the lovely view of Everest.
Day 08 From Dingboche to Lobuche (4 meals provided, standard accommodation)
You are heading to the higher altitudes, and you will notice changes in the geographical features as you come across the snowy region and shrub plants. Still, the view of the mountains, such as Lingtern, Pumori, and Khumbutse, will blow your mind. The villages you come across are small and have fewer villagers. Compared to Dingboche, Lobuche is small, and Lobuche Peak is famous worldwide. This is the only village where you spend your night by peak.
Day 09 From Lobuche to Gorakshep and Everest Base Camp (4 meals provided, standard accommodation)
Today, you are heading to the base of Everest you have always dreamt of. But first, you must reach Gorakshep, which used to be the base camp for Everest climbers. You can call this village the last Everest Base Camp Trek village. As you head to the base camp, you will walk by the Khumbu Glacier. When you reach there, you will see the Khumbu Icefall. Unfortunately, no tea houses are on the base camp; therefore, you must return to Gorakshep to spend the night.
Day 10 Morning Hike to Kalapathar and trek to the Pumori Base Camp Camp (4 meals provided, tented camp)
Early in the morning, you will hike to Kalapathar to enjoy the view of 8000 m peaks, such as Lhotse, Makalu, and Cho Oyu. The sunrise view from there is equally impressive, and you retrace the trekking trail to Gorakshep, from where you head to the Pumori Base Camp.
Day 11-25 Summit Mt. Pumori and descend to the Base Camp (4 meals provided, tented camp)
The Sherpas will set up camps at higher altitudes and decide on the climbing route. They will also cook meals for you, and they will also tell you when to acclimatise. The Sherpas undertake to overcome technical difficulties while climbing Pumori and weather forecasting. When you reach the summit, you will spend a short time there. The summit offers the best view of Everest, Lhotse, Cho Oyu, Makalu, and Nuptse. From the summit, you will retrace the climbing route.
Day 26 From the Pumori Base Camp to Dingboche (4 meals provided, standard accommodation)
The Sherpas will pack up the climbing equipment, and you will start your trek from the base camp. You will retrace the trekking trail, and once again, you will be in Gorakshep, Lobuche, and Pheriche before finally reaching Dingboche.
Day 27 From Dingboche to Tengboche (4 meals provided, standard accommodation)
The trekking trail you will follow is relatively easy, so it should come under the moderate trekking trail category. It goes downhill to Pangboche and Deboche, and from there, it goes uphill and takes you to the pine forest before taking you to Tengboche.
Day 28 From Tengboche to Namche Bazaar (4 meals provided, standard accommodation)
You will be trekking on flat land for a short duration, then descend to Phunke Thanga. From there, the trekking trail goes uphill to take you to Kyanjuma. The walk from Kyanjuma to Namche is easy as well as pleasant.
Day 29 From Namche Bazaar to Lukla (4 meals provided, standard accommodation)
As you head to Lukla, you will again see the colourful Buddhist prayer flags and come across chortens, mani walls, and gompas. Crossing the suspension bridges over the glaciated Dudh Kosi River reminds you of the beginning of your Everest journey. Finally, from Cheplung, you will head to Lukla.
Day 30 From Lukla to Kathmandu (breakfast provided, standard accommodation)
Once again, it is time to enjoy the mountain aerial view from a plane's window. After landing at the Kathmandu airport, you will be taken to our office or the hotel.
Day 31 Leisure Day in Kathmandu (breakfast provided, standard accommodation)
Take a rest and explore Thamel. This place always has got something for a tourist like you. Every tourist loves this place.
