Saribung Peak is as old as the hills and comes under the title of Trekking Peak. For information, the climbing permit was issued to the Saribung Climbers recently, which is new in the old. The climbing route of Saribung is technical and famous because you see its name under the highlights of the Annapurna Treks. But the trekking trail that takes you to the base of Saribung Peak is off the beaten with the value-added like a high-altitude pass. Saribung Peak Climbing and Saribung Trek itineraries take you to the cliffs, giving you an extraordinary adventure than the rest of the treks in Nepal. Later, these itineraries take you to the famous trekking regions of Nepal, like Mustang and Jomsom.
Saribung is away from central Nepal and lies close to the Nepal-China border. From the summit of Saribung, you see not only this but also Nilgiri Himal (7,061 m), Himlung Himal (7,126 m), Lamjung Himal (6,983 m), Mt. Manaslu (8,156 m), and Annapurna II (7,937 m). In addition to this, other highlights of the trekking trail are crevasses and beautiful ice formations. The trekking region is scenic, and you enjoy this from the rugged trekking trail. Day 01 Arrive at Tribhuwan International Airport (standard accommodation)
Arrive in Kathmandu on the date that you have planned for or at the most suitable time you have decided. Stay calm about the pick-up; we will wait for you outside the airport to take you to our office and the hotel. Our office remains open from 9 A.M. to 6 P.M. Kathmandu is known as the city of temples and is the most developed city in Nepal as we write these words in this itinerary. You will be staying in Thamel, the central tourist hub in Kathmandu. If you stay in a 5-star hotel, it will be outside Thamel.
Day 02 Sightseeing with breakfast and climbing preparations (standard accommodation)
Kathmandu is dotted with world heritage sites, and the most famous of them are mentioned below

★ Bouddhanath
★ Kathmandu Durbar Square
You will visit each of these with our city guide, and they will take you to the past. Those were the glorious days of Nepal. Day 03 Fly from Kathmandu to Pokhara (breakfast provided, standard accommodation)
It is a short flight, less than 1 hour. You are heading to the city of lakes. Pokhra is scenic compared to Kathmandu, the city of temples. At a stone's throw distance, Fishtail Mountain is located. You will be staying near Phewa Lake, and you will go on a boat ride.
Day 04 Fly from Pokhara to Jomsom and trek to Kagbeni (4 meals provided, standard accommodation)
This is also a short flight, like from Kathmandu to Pokhara. You will walk on the bank of the Kali Gandaki River. One of the highlights of today’s trek is Bon Monastery. The main village you will reach is Ekle Bhatti; from there, you will head to Kagbeni.
Day 05 From Kagbeni to Chele (4 meals provided, standard accommodation)
Today you are walking by the Kali Gandaki River on the sand in the windy area amid the hills. You will reach a village called Tangbe, which has narrow alleys and white-washed houses, and on the outskirts of this village, there are agricultural fields of barley, apple orchards, and bucket heats. There are other villages you will reach and cross a river and walk on a ridge to get Chele.
Day 06 From Chele to Ghiling (4 meals provided, standard accommodation)
The trekking route consists of uphill and downhill. First, they will take you to the slope of a hill. Sometimes, you will have to walk on a narrow trail. You will see that the monastery is utterly different from what is inside the cave.
Day 07 Trek from Ghiling to Tsarang (4 meals provided, standard accommodation)
Follow an ascending trekking trail to reach the Nyi La Pass, with a fantastic view of the mountains. Today you will be entering the Mustang Region. The descending trekking trail takes you to Ghami Village. One of the highlights of Tsarang is a palace.
Day 08 From Tsarang to Lo-Manthang (4 meals provided, standard accommodation)
Following the descending trekking trail, you will head to the canyon and cross a river; later, you will reach the pass, which is almost 4000 m. From the top of the pass, you will see the beautiful view of Lo Manthang, where you will spend your night. You will also see the beautiful scenery of Nilgiri, Tilicho, Annapurna I, Bhrikuti Peak, and Damodar Kunda, which means pond in English.
Day 09 Acclimatization Day (4 meals provided, standard accommodation)
By looking at Lo Manthang, you can say it is a walled village. It has highlights like Jhampa, Thupchen, and Chhoeda, which are monasteries. There is a nearby village called Tinglhar, and many trekking guides say it is beautiful.
Day 10 From Lo-Manthang to Yara (4 meals provided, standard accommodation)
On the way, there is the Dhi La Pass. From such a pass, there is a breathtaking view of the mountains. The trekking trail also takes you to a river and a village called Dhi. Before reaching Yara, there is a steep trekking trail.
Day 11 From Yara to Luri Cave Monastery (4 meals provided, tented Camp)
There are two highlights on the way: Luri Gompa and the Luri Cave Monastery. They were built in the 15th century. There is a steep trekking trail before reaching the Luri Cave Monastery. There is an ancient religious text in the monastery.
Day 12 From Luri Gompa to Ghuma Thanti (4 meals provided, tented Camp)
The ascending trekking trail takes you to Ghumna Thanti. On the way, you will see a beautiful view of the mountains. Also, visit the areas of interest that are in and around Ghuma Thanti. The beauties of the Kyumupani River are other highlights of today’s trek.
Day 13 From Ghuma Thanti to Namta Khola (4 meals provided, tented Camp)
There are ascending and descending trekking trails, and they are very exhausting. There is also a kunda on the way, and the kunda means a pond. Another water body is the Namto Khola, which is a river. It is not only about water bodies but also about beautiful scenery.
Day 14 From the Namta Khola to the Saribung Base Camp (4 meals provided, tented Camp)
Today you will be trekking on the Tibetan Plateau. The trekking trail goes uphill, and no villages are on the way. When you reach the base camp, the porter and the guide will set up a camp for you.
Day 15 Acclimatization Day (4 meals provided, tented Camp)
Acclimatisation means taking a rest and hiking to the place of interest. In addition, it means preparing for a higher altitude. From this viewpoint, you will see the beautiful view of the mountains.
Day 16 From the Base Camp to the High Camp (4 meals provided, tented Camp)
There is snow on the climbing route. There are also rocks on the climbing route. You start early in the morning and reach the High Camp at noon. You are at 5000 m plus; from there, you will see a great view of the mountains.
Day 17 From the High Camp to the Summit of Saribung and the Base Camp ( 4 meals provided, tented Camp)
You climb early in the morning, before dawn, before the wind sets in. The climbing route is steep. From the summit of Saribung, you will see a 360-degree view of the mountains, including Chhib Himal (6650m) and Kharsang Peak (6225m). After spending some time there, you retrace the climbing route to the base camp.
Day 18 From the Base Camp to Ngoru via Saribung Pass (4 meals provided, tented Camp)
You are heading to the Saribung Pass, and you will see the spectacular view of the mountains from the pass. From the top of the key, it is always a descending trekking trail. This trail takes you to Ngrou. Before reaching there, there are many ascending and descending trails.
Day 19 From Ngoru to Phu Gaon (4 meals provided, standard accommodation)
You will be trekking through the barren land. The scene is contrasted here because you also see the snow-covered mountains. The main village that you reach is Phu Gaon. Highlights are the oldest monasteries and the breathtaking view of Himlung Himal.
Day 20 From Phu Gaon to Meta (4 meals provided, standard accommodation)
Following the downhill trekking trail, you will be away from the Phu Valley. The trekking trail also consists of a rocky path. The villages that you reach are Chyakhu and Jhunum. Then, following another downhill trekking trail, you will go to Meta.
Day 21 Trek from Meta to Koto (4 meals provided, standard accommodation)
The trekking trail is steep and takes you to a beautiful pine forest. On the way, you also come across beautiful streams and cascading waterfalls. Finally, walking on the bank of the Naar Khola, you will reach Koto.
Day 22 Trek from Koto to Dharapani (4 meals provided, standard accommodation)
The downhill trekking trail takes you to small villages. You will also have a glimpse of Manaslu Mountain. The trekking trail is very rough. Before reaching Dharapani, the trekking trail becomes flat.
Day 23 From Dharapani to Chamje (4 meals provided, standard accommodation)
The trekking trail goes uphill and downhill. You will cross the suspension bridge over the Marshyangdi River. The downhill trekking trail takes you to Tal and Chamje.
Day 24 From Chamje to Kathmandu (breakfast and lunch provided, standard accommodation)
As you drive from Chamje to Kathmandu, there are many curves, and you will see what is outside your country, such as terraced farmland. In addition, there is a scenic view of mountains, and the names of these mountains are Annapurna, Manaslu, and Ganesh Himal. Another thing you will not see in your country but here are the activities of the local people. Finally, in the evening, you will reach Kathmandu.
Day 25 Departure (breakfast provided)
We will pick you up at the hotel three hours before your international flight and take you to Tribhuwan International Airport. So goodbye, and we wish you good luck for a safe journey.
